Review: Take if You Dare and Two Week Seduction

Two Week Seduction by kathy Lyons

She’s going to break all of his rules…

Tech Sergeant John O’Donnell was never fond of his hometown. Too many reminders of poverty, his rocky family life, and the girl he was never allowed to have. Now he has exactly two weeks to sort out his mother's finances before he heads back overseas. Two weeks that he's determined to spend as far from his best friend’s little sister as possible.

Alea Heling has a naughty streak a mile wide. Sweet and simple? Boring. She’s been craving a bad boy like John since their wild days together in high school, and this time, she’s not taking no for an answer. But with every panty-meltingly hot encounter, Alea forgets one hard, cold reality—this soldier won't let a fortnight turn into forever...and forever might be exactly what they both need.

On a two week leave from the Air Force, John comes face to face with the one thing he can never have, his best friend's little sister.

All Alea has ever wanted was John, and when he comes home for leave, she gets her chance to seduce him once and for all.

The story picks up right before John's welcome home party and things quickly take off between Alea and John by the end of the night. John and Alea find a connection in their need to live up to their family and their desire to do what's right for them. Both struggle with the dicision before them and their attraction between each other. You'll find yourself unsure till the very end.

Two Week Seduction is a nice quick read if you're in the mood for something light. There were some times I felt bits of the conversations were missing and some info was left out or not explained well enough, but overall I enjoyed the book.

A sexy category romance novella from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

One decadent dare, one steamy night…

It’s been a year since Jasmine Stewart dumped her cheating ex, so when her best friend dares her to have a one-night stand during a business trip to Miami, Jasmine is all in. But just as she hits her cheesy-come-ons limit, a wickedly hot former soldier comes to her rescue.

Security specialist Ethan Worth’s instincts tell him the gorgeous woman at the bar is trouble. After a sexy dance and even sexier kiss, he knowsshe is. But when their scintillating night leads to more, the possibility of another long distance relationship sends Jasmine running for the door.

Until the unthinkable happens. Jasmine’s company assigns her to Bode-Wynn, the military security firm where Ethan works. Forced back together, the undeniable heat between them flares to life. But sex is all it can ever be, because taking it further goes against everything Jasmine wants…and everything Ethan fears.

A little Dare + a hot hero + lots of doubts = Take Me if You Dare

Jasmine and her best friend, Tab, make daes to each other for their birthdays, Jasmine's dare this year? Have a one night stand to get over her cheating ex.
Ethan wasn't looking for nothing more than a little fun before going back to work. It was supposed to be one night

But fate had other plans for both of them....

Nina Crespo did a wonderful job at keeping balance between steamy scenes and romance in this novella. Take Me if You Dare center around Jasmine and Ethan. Both scare of commiting to another person for different reasons but one night together leaves them wanting more and when fate decides to keep them together they can't stay away.

The feelings developed fast but in a real way. The characters were solid and she gives enogh back story to each of them to make you understand why they keep their distance.

To be honest, Ethan really makes me swoon. He is the perfect guy and putshimself out there more than once. What I really love was that the gesture at the end came from Jasmine!

The secondary characters were good as well, it had enough of them to help move the story forward.
I'd like to keep reading about them as well.
